Komodo National Park | Deluxe
Tiger Blue is a traditional 34 metre Indonesian Phinisi, handcrafted in South Sulawesi from teak and cenggal wood by renowned local boat builder Haji Abdullah, powered by seven impressive red sails and assisted by a diesel engine that makes it one of the fastest traditional boats in the region.
Twelve guests can be comfortably accommodated in Tiger Blue’s five air-conditioned, en-suite cabins which are furnished in traditional Indonesian style with rich timber interiors. Two of the five cabins feature a double bed and additional single bed. For those who fancy sleeping out under the stars (highly recommended for a night), a bed can be made up on deck.
Your every whim is attended to by an experienced, international crew of eight which includes a dive master, who can introduce the plentiful marine life, and a chef who works wonders in his small kitchen, rustling up gourmet breakfasts, picnic lunches and beach BBQ dinners.
A typical day is spent exploring otherwise largely inaccessible islands; snorkelling and diving pristine reefs; spotting turtles and swimming with manta rays; punctuated with a spot of sunbathing on the boat’s expansive deck area. Cocktails and canapés served on a deserted beach as the sun sets over the tropical island seascape will undoubtedly be one of the cruise highlights.
Tempted? Tiger Blue is available for private charter – perfect for a once in a lifetime adventure with family and friends, or on an individual cabin basis on one of the set date cruise departures around the stunning islands of Eastern Indonesia.
We SayThis majestic schooner feels more like a floating boutique hotel than a liveaboard dive boat.
