Komodo National Park | Superior
Chartered sailing aboard the traditionally-built Plataran Ambasi is the ideal way to explore the reefs and islands of the Komodo National Marine Park at your own pace. Smaller than her sister-ship the Plataran Felicia, the Ambasi can be hired for shared or private charter for 8 guests. With a full crew, including live-aboard chef and dive expert, every need is catered for allowing you to go wherever wind and whim take you.
The snug sleeping quarters are constructed entirely from dark wood, polished to a deep shine to enhance the feeling of luxury. Three of the cabins have double beds while the fourth is a twin; all are fully air-conditioned and have compact en-suites with hot water on tap. Up on deck there is a cosy area with beanbag seats to nestle down in and enjoy the view, and a communal dining area under the canopy where guests gather for meals and mingling.
There are plenty of opportunities to snorkel and swim from the boat, and the rich marine biodiversity means you’ll encounter many different species, including rays and seahorses, and perhaps even see a dolphin pod swim-by. The on-shore wildlife is just as fascinating including, of course, the famous Komodo Dragon. Whether you spend your days searching for local flora or simply relaxing on-deck, the Phinisi Ambasi is a delightful vessel which has everything you need for a comfortable cruise.
We SayWhen you’re not snorkelling, swimming or exploring the islands, this charming ship has a choice of spaces for relaxing on-board.
