Tabin Wildlife Reserve
Tabin Wildlife Reserve | First Class
Tabin Wildlife Reserve is the largest wildlife reserve in Malaysia, and home to an impressive array of species including Borneo pygmy elephants. Other inhabitants include wild orang-utan amongst numerous other primate species, and literally thousands of bird, reptile, insect, plant and tree species.
Timber lodges with either a river or hill-side setting provide comfortable accommodation, and make the most of the natural beauty of their construction materials, instead of adding superfluous interior decor. All have a fantastic wall of windows to make the most of natural light and let you gaze at the wildlife outside, plus a private balcony and en suite bathroom. Most importantly, all rooms benefit from air-con.
Add waterfalls, mud-volcanoes, trekking, specialised bird-watching, dawn drives and night walks into the equation, and Tabin offers a truly outstanding addition to any Borneo itinerary.
