July's weather in detail

Whilst rainy season continues in Cambodia in July, rainfall typically comes in the form of intense, heavy showers and the sun will occasionally break through overcast skies. Thunder storms can also break out infrequently and make for some spectacular views, especially at the Angkor Temples.

If it’s sunshine and beach time you’re seeking then best to avoid Cambodia’s south coast and head to the Indonesian islands or Borneo’s beaches which are enjoying maximum sunshine at this time of year.

Temperatures in Cambodia continue to drop in July, making the days more comfortable (avg temp: 27°C).
