Ansara Hotel

The Ansara is a bright, classically-styled boutique conveniently located for exploring the heart of Vientiane and strolling along the riverbank. It's simple but comfy, with some lovely traditional details and a warm, homely ambiance.

Despite being a small-ish mid-town hotel, there's a good amount of outdoor space, and the inclusion of a proper swimming pool and sun terrace is an unexpected bonus; somewhere secluded to properly unwind after sightseeing.
