Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages

Nestled in the rainforest overlooking the Bohorok River, the Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages offers the chance to stay surrounded by the Sumatran jungle and its gibbons and orang-utans.
The lodge is run by a non-profit organisation with all profits going straight back into community development, environmental education and nature conservation. The 36 rooms are housed within five lodges and are basic but comfortable with mosquito nets and some having ensuites with showers (but no hot water).
