What to expect on an elite Sri Lanka safari camp...
Our safari camps are ideally situated in the heartlands of Sri Lanka’s biggest National Parks - Yala, Uda Walawe, and Wilpattu - and offer the perfect setting from which to plunge yourself into the sight and sound of the wild.
Always passionate believers in sustainable tourism, our local camp leaders achieve an ideal balance between ensuring the parks are protected for future generations, and giving their guests an experience that will be cherished for a lifetime.
A dedicated ranger will be on hand throughout your visit, enabling you to see the very best of your chosen park. Sri Lanka boasts hundreds of noteworthy species, including huge herds of elephant, the world's densest leopard population, and excellent birdlife. From the breathtaking sight of a flock of aquatic birds taking flight, to a herd of Sri Lankan elephants striding out into the wetlands, to the beauty of a leopard resting in the sun, you have every chance here of really outstanding encounters with nature.
National Park entry is included in this experience, and so will trackers and a qualified naturalist, who'll be on hand to answer your questions during any expeditions within the park.
As the sun sets, you can enjoy a peaceful evening drink by the glow of the campfire while your on-site chef prepares a sumptuous meal. Tailored to your personal diet and wishes, the camp staff can create anything from a romantic candlelit dinner to a barbeque feast using a delicious selection of locally-sourced ingredients.
With appetites satisfied, you can wander back to your well-equipped tent to settle down for the evening. Your rustic home-from-home will be equipped with everything you need to make your stay blissfully relaxing. Each tent has an en suite bathroom, hot shower, towels and toiletries, private seating area where you can enjoy the quiet moments, and proper beds with plush mattresses and soft pillows, offering a good night's sleep after the day’s activities.
Before you turn in, however, you may wish to take some time on your veranda and turn your gaze upwards. From here you can experience one of the most stunning views possible, as millions of stars, unhindered by light pollution, become utterly dazzling in the night sky.

Good to remember...
The camp is lit with oil torches and hurricane lamps at night, Pack plenty of batteries for your camera, because electricity supply is limited. Camp locations are fairly remote so make sure you bring all necessary medication, and advise of dietary requirement well in advance.
