Phuket | Deluxe
This stylish beach resort – conveniently located just 10 minutes from the airport - uniquely draws on Phuket’s tin-mining history as inspiration for its design (and name): a refreshing shift from the common-or-garden traditional Thai-style properties.
Despite its trendy, industrial-style design, The Slate is not solely for hip young couples! Its impressive choice of facilities suits both couples and families. There are three pools (two of which are adults only), an excellent kids club, a unique spa and a wide choice of dining options….the list goes on. In addition to this, perhaps the resorts’ most impressive feature is its ability to spread its guests out so well, ensuring that for the majority of the day you are blissfully unaware of its size.
Spacious suites are furnished in keeping with the resorts historical tin-mining theme: industrial chic touches are cleverly blended with rich woods and warm bold colours. The D-BUK Suite, with separate sleeping and living areas are a good option for families; the Pool Pavilions feature a private plunge pool and are popular with honeymooners.
The beach is well serviced with a variety of local eateries and bars with water sports easily arranged.
NB The Slate was formerly named Indigo Pearl
We SayDon't leave without visiting 'The Nests' - it's unlike any other spa we've come across on our travels!
