Oberoi Hotels & Resorts

Throughout India

The Oberoi name is synonymous with high quality hotel grandeur around the world, and the brand’s sprinkling of offerings across India uphold these expectations to a T. From New Delhi to Mumbai, the Oberoi resorts achieve the difficult and delicate balance of giving guests an experience of ultimate opulence whilst maintaining a distinct and immersive sense of place. The hotel buildings mirror their surrounding architecture, allowing each resort to successfully avoid that all-too-common pitfall of keeping guests in a homogeneous luxury bubble.

Whilst the Oberoi New Delhi reflects the high-rise modernity of India’s famously chaotic capital, the Oberoi Amarvilas pays beautiful homage to India’s most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal, which is perfectly framed beyond the wide windows. Whichever Oberoi you stay at you can expect delicious fine dining that combines local flavours with international options, nurturing spa facilities designed to pamper and rejuvenate, and a host of experiences that connect you to your destination. The Oberoi is the pinnacle of contemporary luxury, setting the standard for other high-end resorts to meet.

The Oberoi New Delhi

When The Oberoi New Delhi opened its doors in 1965 it was one-of-a-kind, attracting illustrious guests such as Bill Gates, Giorgio Armani and even the Dalai Lama over the years. Fast forward over half a century and Delhi isn’t short of luxury places to stay, however, following an extensive multi-million dollar refurbishment The Oberoi is still a genuine contender for best deluxe property in town. Don’t be put off by the hotel’s rather stark concrete exterior: inside, the resort emanates elegance and sophistication. A strong contemporary aesthetic with pops of opulent local fabrics and traditional motifs creates the perfect summary of New Delhi, and a welcoming retreat from the rush of the city.
