A slick, contemporary hotel in a great position right next to Kanazawa Castle Park. The rooms are on the cosy side, but feel pretty spacious compared to many of Japan's city-centre hotels. They're bright and welcoming, with some great views.
There's a chic design to many of the communal spaces - lots of black and gold - which adds a little sparkle. Though there's a focus on business travel, it makes a calm, convenient base from which to explore Kanazawa's evocative heritage.
