In a convenient city centre location, the Resol Trinity offers good value accommodation with a simple contemporary aesthetic, just a stone’s throw from Kanazawa Castle Park, Ozaki Shrine, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art with its popular Swimming Pool exhibit.
The property’s exterior isn’t much to write home about, but inside the place has been intelligently designed. Guestrooms are clutter-free and smartly presented in a neat modern style - the rooms differ, but typically have relaxing cream walls and a richly coloured feature wall, colourful textiles, angular beech-coloured furniture, and individual decorative touches that give a sense of character. Bathrooms are likewise simple but well thought out, with contemporary designs and a glossy finish.
The Italian style restaurant is a nice trattoria style affair that serves up carefully prepared seafood and local vegetables, along with a good selection of wine. The hotel also boasts its own aromatherapy ‘spa’ - essentially it’s a massage room, but a nice one, and very welcome after a couple of days exploring Kanazawa.
