Hotel Nikko Fukuoka
Fukuoka | Superior
A very short walk from Hakata station, the Hotel Nikko is a convenient and well-equipped choice for accommodation in Fukuoka, with a good range of dining options on the premises.
Guest rooms are decorated in a calm, fresh style with light neutrals and comfortable furnishings, with everything necessary for an easy relaxing stay.
The hotel has an extraordinary array of dining options, from little teppanyaki rooms to a full on continental style restaurant, and you can also dine in your room if preferred. There’s a stylish cocktail bar and an informal lounge in which to relax and drink tea.
There’s a fitness club, which guests can use for an additional charge, on the sixth floor, boasting a pool with a view as well as a well equipped gym, a sauna and a relaxation room. If you have tattoos, note that the fitness club operates a no-tats policy (in Japan, tattoos are still closely associated with yakuza).
Unusually amongst the hotels on our books, this place also has its own cathedral - sort of, since it’s a recreation and situated on the third floor of the hotel, but it has a real pipe organ and European stained glass, so it’s worth looking into!
