Do I need a visa to visit Indonesia?

Yes, currently citizens of the UK, EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States and almost all other nationalities require a visa to visit Indonesia.

What is the process for getting an Indonesian visa?

At this time, there is a visa on arrival service (VOA) available. The cost is approximately $50 per person - cash only.

The maximum period of stay is 30 days which can be extended for a further 30 days. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months at the day of exit, and should contain at least one empty page on the day of arrival.

Covid-19 related entry requirements for Indonesia

You must be fully vaccinated and in possession of proof of vaccine status to enter Indonesia unless you are in one of the following categories:

Travellers below 18 years of age on international flights, if they are travelling with their vaccinated parents.
Foreign nationals who cannot be vaccinated due to their medical condition. They must produce a certificate from a medical professional to confirm this.

You must download the download the Satusehat App (downloads are available from app stores on appropriate systems).

Show proof of a full course of vaccination (those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons are exempt as long as they can show proof of exemption)

What will I need to do on arrival in Indonesia

Your temperature will be checked on arrival and if high enough you will be required to undertake a PCR test.
