Philippines weather & when to go: February
February overview
Weather conditions throughout the Philippines in February are much the same as January. Rainfall across the islands is minimal and dry, sunny days can be expected throughout the month. It's no surprise therefore that February is a popular time of year to visit the Philippines.
February's weather in detail
The highlands of northern Luzon, such as the Cordillera region will be cooler in temperature than Manila and the southern regions, offering comfortable conditions for exploring the Banaue Rice Terraces.
Sea temperatures are on the rise making February an ideal month for swimming, snorkelling and diving. Although it's worth bearing in mind that the waters around Palawan and Boracay can be a little rough during February so island hopping and Underground River tours may be cancelled.
