Our guides are at the heart of everything we do and the holiday experiences that we create. We are immensely proud to work with a group of such exceptionally talented individuals in each of our destinations, and we love being able to spend time with them during our own travels in Asia.
On most guided holidays, it is typical for guests to first meet their guide on arrival at their destination, usually at their arrival airport.
Now, as a Selective Asia client, you can be introduced to your first guide before you travel, using our new innovative system - Guide Connect.
We believe that gaining a little insight into each other’s interests and lives before you meet will give you both a head start, enhancing those first hours you spend with your guide, and helping to remove any uncertainties about who you’ll be spending time with and whether they’ll be the right match for you.
On a personal level, over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to cultivate meaningful connections and relationships with our guides. Some of our team remain in contact with guides for months and years following trips they have taken. The guides we work with are an exceptional bunch and are truly passionate about both their work and destinations they work in. They know as well as we do that it’s the details in a holiday that can make the difference between a good and a great trip and with this service our aim is to enhance the already excellent service they deliver and take it to the next level.
Your Destination Specialist will be happy to discuss Guide Connect with you and answer any questions you might have. We’re proud to say it’s a service that’s unique to Selective Asia. We’ve fully invested into our guides, to enhance both your and their experience when travelling with us.
Please note: Guide Connect is not sadly not operational in some destinations (including Sandakan & Kuching in Malay Borneo, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Nepal, Bhutan, India or any stopover destinations) - we are working hard at delivering it in these destinations.
