The Tea Factory

Deep in Sri Lanka's lush countryside, the Tea Factory is indeed a converted tea factory, which has been perched atop this hillside since the 1930s. Nestled in organic plantations, guests are invited to pick their own tea - a perfect souvenir.

All the rooms have views over the surrounding landscape, and those from the top floor are particularly special - windows on three sides for a real panoramic sweep. A laid back place to get a taste of Sri Lanka's highest altitudes.
