The Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel is Nuwara Eliya's oldest hotel and it still exudes old-world grandeur, if perhaps a little faded. It is fondly regarded, thanks largely to the friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to provide a high-quality experience.

There’s a general ‘Country Club’ vibe about the property: expect waiters in white livery, roaring fires and chandeliers. The well-manicured gardens are pleasant to wander through or sit in enjoying afternoon tea.
