Wilpattu Safari Camp

There’s nothing like waking up in the morning to the sounds of Sri Lankan nature right outside your tent flap! Located on the edge of Wilpattu National Park, this unique camp of just four tents is easy to reach by road, and will give you direct access to some of the world’s most spectacular wildlife.
This is a true glamping experience, with comfortable double beds providing the focal point of spacious canvas tents, which also feature a veranda for soaking up the atmosphere. Adjoining bathrooms have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including hot water showers and Western toilets.
The camp is managed by a team of experienced wildlife photographers and conservationists who are keen to preserve the area, ensuring that no more than 8 people are staying at any one time. This keeps any noise to a minimum and offers a more personal service to guests. Meals of Sri Lankan and international favourites are home cooked by the camp staff, and are included in the cost of your stay.
The big draw to Wilpattu is the native leopard population. Twice-daily safaris are led by an experienced naturalist or wildlife photographer, and there’s a real emphasis on conservation of the park, alongside sighting the animals.
We SaySpot leopards within the National Park, or head to the coast for a whale-watching experience. A must for nature-lovers!
