Koh Kood: An Introduction
Lying 80km off the coast of Trat, close to Cambodian border, and lying to the south of the larger, better known island of Koh Chang; Koh Kood is one of Thailand’s least visited islands. Remote yet accessible is a great way to describe it!
The island is large, covering about 100sqaure km, yet mostly untouched especially inland. Beautiful, deserted beaches are dotted around the island and a small number of backpacker lodges cater to the intrepid travelling crowd.
The most stunning property is undoubtedly the super-deluxe Soneva Kiri by Six Senses, a collection of villas and suites offering extreme luxury and privacy for the most discerning visitor.
