This boutique-style low-rise property (just two storeys) is not only a very stylish hotel, as it also doubles as something of an art exhibition, supporting the work of local artists. Many of its staff attend a nearby tourism college and work in the hotel as part of their course (don’t worry; not on their first day. The service is excellent!).
Rooms are large, comfortably modern with Colonial-style touches, and the hotel has a delightful restaurant with an outdoor seating area. Although there is no swimming pool on site, guests are invited to use the pool and spa at La Residence for a very minimal daily fee.
