November is an ideal time of year to visit Taiwan, avoiding any extremes of heat, rain and humidity.Taipei’s average temperature is a very pleasant 19-23°C; whilst the beaches in the country's tropical south are enjoying excellent beach weather and temperatures ranging between 23-29°C.
November's weather in detail
It's good news all round in Taiwan during November. Comfortable temperatures in Taipei are favourable for sightseeing; whilst minimal rain and temperatures pushing 29°C in the south are perfect for beach time.
Despite the north east monsoon bringing cloud and a high chance of thundery storms to Keelung and Taiwan’s north east coast during November, the rest of the country is relatively bright with plenty of blue skies and sunshine.
The mountainous interior is particularly attractive at this time of year, awash with the flaming hues of autumn, and the National Parks prove especially popular with hikers. Favourable temperatures and minimal rainfall make November an ideal time of year to visit Yangmingshan National Park and the Alishan National Scenic Area.
