Laya Waves has an enviable location on laid-back Kalkudah Beach. You’ll probably only have to share this quiet stretch of shoreline with the local fishermen, yet you’ll be within easy reach of Passekudah Bay and its excellent water sports.

The handful of simple, unembellished rooms gives you a choice of cosy spaces to rest your head after a day soaking up the East Sri Lankan sun. Relax by the pool, on a lounger on the beach, or wandering barefoot through the shallows.
