Originally built in the 16th century and lovingly preserved, Okyeon Jeongsa offers an atmospheric stay within a working Confucian academy. The wooden pavilions and tiled roofs open onto quiet courtyards and riverside views, where mists rise gently each morning.

Rooms are simple and traditional, with sliding doors, floor bedding, and the soft creak of old timber. While the sense of luxury is slightly pared back, the sense of place is profound – a chance to sleep where scholars once studied and soak up a slower, thoughtful rhythm of life.
