Arthall Hotel Benikea Gwangju
Gwangju | Standard
The Arthall Hotel Benikea is a delightfully quirky hotel; its marble floors and eclectic collection of objet d’art give it a burst of personality and character that sets it apart from many of South Korea’s larger chain hotels. Boasting a central location, it is within walking distance of most Gwangju sights, as well as temptingly close to the local restaurants that the city is famous for.
Accommodation comprises of 60 rooms and suites, some of which benefit from a balcony that overlooks the city. The living spaces are all well-appointed, offering plenty of space, and there is a choice of Korean Ondol style rooms or rooms decorated in a more international style.
Facilities are fairly minimal. There is a sauna and spa to relax in, as well as a children’s play room. In terms of dining, there is a simple cafe that serves a buffet breakfast on every day except Monday. No other meals are served but this shouldn’t present a real problem seeing as you’re located in the heart of South Korea’s food hub and can expect to sample some of the best food in the country in the surrounding eateries.
We SayA quirky, characterful hotel in the centre of Gwangju.
