Set on a private peninsula across Phewa Lake, this long-standing lodge offers space, calm and mountain views. Reached by a short boat crossing, Fish Tail Lodge sits within extensive grounds on the far side of Phewa Lake, away from Pokhara’s busier lakeside. Accommodation is spread across low-rise cottages, with simple, comfortable interiors and gardens that lead down towards the water.

You can spend your time walking the grounds, taking in views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range, or heading into town when needed. Relaxed and well spaced, it’s a dependable base with a strong sense of setting.
