Easily the pick of Kampong Thom’s guest properties, the charming boutique Sambor Village is delightfully situated on the tranquil banks of Steung Sén River. Despite being surrounded by quiet back streets, it’s only a short walk to the town centre’s colourful morning market.
Accommodation consists of 19 comfortable, airy bungalows, set amongst verdant tropical gardens and finished in a minimal, rustic Khmer style. Each has an en-suite bathroom, mosquito nets, and a comfortable outdoor seating area where you can relax amongst the flowers and shrubs.
