Financial Protection

Selective Asia is a fully licensed and bonded tour operator. We hold ATOL license # 9203, issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ATOL – which is short for ‘Air Travel Organisers Licensing’ – exists to protect you, the customer, from losing money or being stranded abroad because of the failure of a travel firm or airline.

If you live in the UK and you are booking any flights (international or domestic) in addition to any ground arrangements (such as tours, hotels, guides etc) then your entire holiday will be protected by our ATOL license.

Many of the flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking.

If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. We also provide full financial protection for our package holidays which either a) don’t include flights or b) for any flight-inclusive packages that commence outside of the UK, and which are sold to customers outside of the UK. This protection is arranged through Trust My Travel Ltd, The Cedars, Ryhall, Rutland, PE9 4HL.

Funds paid by consumers are protected via an Insurance policy held by Trust My Travel. Each traveller and the description of services sold is declared against Trust My Travel’s insurance policy directly against the failure of the merchant, known as ‘the principle’. In the event of the principle’s insolvency, you will be refunded for any unfulfilled products and/or repatriation to the UK (where applicable). Your email receipt or validated booking on this website is confirmation to you that your booking has been declared against Trust My Travel’s insurance policy.
