Forest Floor Lodge is a converted ranger station that provides visitors to Cat Tien National Park with comfortable accommodation, in either luxury tents or traditional Vietnamese houses. The accommodation offers views of either Dong Nai River or the surrounding jungle, and is linked by elevated jungle walkways. The restaurant and open air terrace provide excellent nature-viewing opportunities, even while guests enjoy their delicious Vietnamese and western dishes.
The park comprises 70,000 hectares of tropical rainforest, bamboo woodland, wetland and grassland, located 150km north east of Ho Chi Minh City. It's a vital haven for many of Vietnam's endangered creatuers, including the Javan Rhino, Asian Elephant, Sun Bear, many species of big cats, primates, birds, and 400 species of rare butterflies.
