Undoubtedly the most romantic way to see the Mekong Delta is by private Sampan, meandering through the network of waterways with just your guide, a pilot and a deckhand.
The size of the sampan is ideal for ensuring easy access to many of the delta’s narrow waterways, and disembarking is quick and straightforward, ensuring that you get plenty of time to explore on land as well. The sampans are both extremely stylish and spacious, with lots of outdoor space created to allow you to stretch out and enjoy the delta air. The young crew are attentive and efficient, while still affording you plenty of privacy.
Throughout your two or three day journey, you will stop at a number of sites of interest, such as Cai Be floating market and a Cao Dai temple, and you'll enjoy private sunset dinners away from other tourist boats.
