At the foot of Dragon Mountain, Sapa View blends a lovely Colonial-style exterior, reminiscent of an Austrian mountain town-house, with a comfortably modern, Scandinavian-style interior. There’s lots of polished wood, white soft furnishings with colourful traditional motifs, & merry fireplaces for when Sapa’s high altitude brings on the chill. We particularly love the pretty balconies, which are decorated with plants & offer splendid views of the surrounding valley.
Every room has an ample modern private bathroom with a hot shower & hair dryer - most also have a bathtub. All rooms are air-conditioned with flatscreen TV & there's even an umbrella to borrow - after all, there’s a reason why Sapa is so lush & green.
The hotel’s restaurant Tam Tam serves Vietnamese & Western dishes, putting on a huge spread for breakfast & relaxed candlelit dining in the evening, with an open-air terrace where you can enjoy dessert or a digestif.
