The Irrawaddy Flotilla Company’s stunning ships, the Mekong Pandaw and the Tonlé Pandaw, have been lovingly restored to an incredibly high standard, making the various journeys running between Ho Chi Minh City and Angkor Wat truly remarkable.
Starting in Vietnam, travelling through the agriculturally rich and vibrant Delta region, you’ll continue into Cambodia, where attention switches to the Tonlé Sap.
Despite challenging inland water navigation in these regions, both Pandaw vessels have been specially designed to cope with the constantly changing river conditions, so the trips are usually plain sailing. With the assistance of local guides, you’ll make frequent stops to explore present-day cities, long-forgotten kingdoms, exquisite temples and some of the region’s unique wildlife.
