Communications
Mobile
Mobile phones are widely used in the main cities and some of the smaller destinations. You will find that the reception is a little variable but you should be able to use your mobile phone to stay in touch much of the time.
Email and Internet
Widely available throughout Cambodia and extremely cheap. An hour on an ADSL connection will cost you as little as $0.50 in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. In lesser visited destinations service is a little harder to come by and is generally of a poorer standard.
Post
Post is available in almost every town in Cambodia. Service is slow to Europe and should not be considered as immensely reliable.
Electricity Connections
You will require a universal adapter for any electrical appliances you are carrying whilst travelling in Cambodia. Service is generally very good although power cuts are not uncommon, usually for just a short period of time.
