Koh Pha Ngan: An Introduction
For years the island of Koh Phan Ngan has been known as somewhat of a hedonistic destination; famous for its full moon parties and backpacker orientated facilities.
Whilst this is certainly still the case for much of the island, there are now a small number of more upmarket properties making their mark. Whilst rooms and facilities remain deliberately un-extravagant this is their attraction as visitors look to escape the bigger resorts to be found on the neighbouring island of Koh Samui.
Koh Pha Ngan is an enjoyable island to re-live your backpacker days or simply enjoy a few days lying in a hammock, sipping a refreshing mai thai and looking in wonder at the extensive thai-dye wardrobe of your fellow guests!
