Travel at its best...
Equally as appealing to first time visitor as to those lucky enough to be returning, Burma Off the Beaten Track is a finely balanced itinerary focusing as much on the lesser visited back-roads as it does the must-see highlights. Entering by land from Chiang Rai, Thailand, you’ll spend a few days in the eastern Shan State, with Kengtung providing the perfect base whilst you explore Colonial hill stations, minority villages and, for those that wish to dust off their walking boots, some incredible trails
Continuing west you’ll take in the magical Inle Lake, give Mandalay the time it deserves and travel the long road to Bagan before finally arriving in Yangon after one inspirational travel experience after another.
As with all our itineraries, we have created lots of free time for you to enjoy as you please. If you would prefer a more ‘complete travel programme’ we will be happy to oblige. We can also tailor this holiday to meet your exact needs - your holiday, your way.
