One of our favourite Langkawi resorts, the Bon Ton is set within the lush grounds of a century-old coconut plantation. This boutique resort comprises eight antique Malay houses, each unique in origin and appearance, having been saved from decay throughout Malaysia, relocated here and renovated to their former glory.
The villas are beautifully furnished with a combination of traditional Malay fabrics, antique furniture and carefully sourced decorative pieces. All have outdoor decks overlooking the centrally positioned infinity-edge swimming pool. The resort overlooks a non-swimming lagoon and is home one of Langkawi’s most celebrated restaurants (highly rated by our very own Mr Rick Stein, no less!), serving a wide variety of eastern and western fusion dishes.
Although Bon Ton is not located directly on the beach, it is only a five minute drive to the main beach of Pantai Cenang, with a free shuttle running back and forth throughout the day.
