Two hours from Kuala Lumpur is the historic port of Malacca - for many, the cultural highlight of their holiday in Malaysia. The town is steeped in rich multicultural influences, reflected in its heritage architecture, diverse lifestyles & outstanding cuisine. Malacca’s Cheng Hoon is the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia & its Dutch Stadhuys is probably the oldest Dutch Colonial building in SE Asia. We like to tuck in to the delights of Little India & Chinatown en route to St John's Hill & Fort, & explore intriguing Jonker Street, with its beautifully decorated houses, tiny antique shops, temples & mosques.
