A visit to the sublime Kamu Eco Lodge starts with a two hour cruise along the Mekong River to one of SE Asia’s most impressive 'cave temples'. The Pak Ou Caves house thousands of Buddha statues, hidden there from looters hundreds of years ago. Further upriver, you’ll disembark at Kamu, a unique tented eco-camp. Here guests can try rice planting, trek the jungle, pan for gold or join local fishermen, staying overnight in a luxurious safari-style tent, complete with a thatched roof, solar power & stylish en suite bathroom, all surrounded by natural jungle.
