Opened in the summer of 2008; the Inthira Hotel is a very friendly and homely hotel located in the very centre of Thakek (it is not a big place!) close to the banks of the River Mekong and the local market.
This colonial building has been beautifully restored with many original features kept throughout. Accommodation is well-sized and finished in a simple, un-imposing style. The cafe and restaurant on the ground floor serves excellent Lao and European food.
