Introduction

‘The Mango Tree’ is truly an unearthed secret, just a couple of km from Kampot town. Set alongside the Steung Kampot River and amongst rice fields and a mango grove, there is no shortage of mango shakes here!
The basic but comfortable accommodation is either in the main house or in the more spacious separate wooden bungalows. In both cases there is fan but no air-con and the bathroom facilities can be private or shared depending on your choice. The large river-side gardens have several platforms set over water, ideal for lunch or a lazy afternoon in the shade. The restaurant serves truly excellent Cambodian cuisine and the staff ensure a friendly, laid-back stay.
