Introduction

Located a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Miri city centre, the Miri Marriot is beautifully set around a superb swimming pool. It lays claim to having a private beach (although many would argue that it more closely resembles a sand pit!) with one drawback being you cannot just stroll into the sea due to the stone sea wall keeping the South China Sea at bay. This, however, is the hotel’s only true negative. Well put together rooms, a number of stylish bars and restaurants, excellent gym and spa facilities and a public beach within easy walking distance all ensure any stay is a very positive one.
