Introduction

‘It’s Thailand in a hotel’ is how one member of Selective Asia’s staff described the Sukhothai upon return from a recent hotel inspection in Thailand. Unusually for cental Bangkok, the hotel is mostly less than five stories, all set amongst large, beautifully kept gardens - ideal for guests looking to unwind after another day on the streets of this fast-paced capital. The elegantly designed rooms combine old world palatial charm with contemporary chic. The facilities are of course excellent, and the hotel houses several very well-received restaurants.
