This beautifully restored colonial property is located on the banks of the Mekong River just a short distance from Chhlong Pagoda. Having driven through the many sleepy backwater towns en route, you will be forgiven for being a little surprised when arriving at Le Relais. The property boasts a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Rooms are well presented, with the two Deluxe Mekong View rooms deserving a special mention - well-sized, carefully restored and offering superb views across the Mekong and the properties gardens.
To say we weren't expecting this would be an understatement - one of our favourite hotels in all Cambodia.
