Laos and Cambodia make the perfect couple, offering you a true flavour of Indochina travel. Having commenced your journey in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, you will simply turn north travelling via the majestic temples of Angkor, cruising the waters of southern Laos (where you'll actually explore a predecessor of the Angkor temple site also) and crossing the fertile soils of the Bolaven Plateau where you can expect to laze in splash pools and perhaps encounter the odd elephant.
Then fly north to the ancient capital of Luang Prabang where you will be guided amongst some of Asia's finest temples as well visiting some further lying villages, helping to provide books to the schools.
