The traditional Khmer-style hotel is set within a leafy, high walled garden, creating an atmosphere that seems a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. No easy task considering you are just a short walk from the best shopping and nightlife that Siem Reap has to offer.
Unsurprisingly the hotel continues to impress on the inside. The majority of the guestrooms are set around an extremely picturesque central pool, with open-style rooms; each furnished in an informal but luxurious manner. Rich woods combine effortlessly with neutral fabrics, and just the right balance of colour introduced where required. The open bathrooms are very much a feature, as are the balcony or veranda’s with views of the river, gardens or pool.
The extremely spacious suites are located to the rear of the property and whilst the view is not as good as the rooms, the interior style and amenities and nothing short of exceptional.
The service is, as you’d expect, of the very highest standard, and wining and dining doesn't disappoint either; with the restaurant often voted amongst the finest in Cambodia. The spa is simply heavenly, with few facilities in Indochina rivalling the service provided.
