Originally opened in 1963, the Independence Hotel opened its doors again in 2008 after 4 years of extensive renovation, and can now be considered one of the premier hotels in Sihanoukville.
Looming over Independence Beach, this stylish hotel is something of a landmark. On the inside the large guestrooms benefit from huge, full wall windows and a slightly art deco-style interior. The facilities are good, including a particularly nice swimming pool, and thanks to its location the beach is as good as private.
