Spend an afternoon at the Apsara Art Association
One of our favourite charitable organisations in Cambodia is the Apsara Art Association. Based in Phnom Penh, the AAA is a dance school set up to train orphans & children from underprivileged backgrounds in the art of traditional Khmer dancing, furnishing them with a potential career in the art form. The association also arranges boarding for some of the children, providing them with the family environment they require. You can visit the school to watch rehearsals on most days, & you may be able to see the children perform at various locations across the city.
