Should you travel in Burma?

Even with no prior knowledge of Burma’s history, the slightest research highlights its ongoing political problems. Most travellers do some soul-searching before they choose to visit.
Until very recently we chose not to ourselves, & now only do so under the guidance of Burma’s pro-democracy groups. We do everything we can to make sure the money we take there ends up in the hands of the people, not the dictatorship. However, we encourage you to make the decision for yourself, & explain our own rationale on Burma in detail here, to help inform you.
