Yangon doesn’t have much quality to offer the more budget visitor, so we consider the Yazana Garden Hotel a real find. A pleasant restaurant, a surprisingly complete gym and a small courtyard pool with terrace – and all this within a couple of minutes walk of the night market and China Town.
The guest rooms are very generous in size, and while their décor won’t be making it into Home & Gardens anytime soon, they’re simply furnished and far from offensive. Both the bathrooms and general amenities are of a sufficient standard.
