Simple, modern, and very conveniently located for Lashio’s enormous market, the 3 star Lashio Motel is hardly glamour incarnate, but then nobody really expects that from a motel. All its rooms are air-conditioned - an important standard in Lashio’s humid climate - with a mini-bar and somewhat restricted (at least, if you don’t speak Burmese or Mandarin) satellite TV.
They’re clean, quiet, fairly big and offer good views across the town, which is another simple but welcome bonus. The restaurant’s okay, but the market offers far more interesting places to eat.
