Set within vibrant gardens and a mature coconut grove, the laid-back and peaceful Bayview Resort is a lush, green island of tranquillity on the pristine white sand of Ngapali Beach. Having passed beneath the impressive modern entrance, and wandered past the stylish, roman-esque swimming pool, guests will discover just 45 rooms, all beautifully presented, with either a sea or garden view.
Inside, the rooms are fresh and spacious, with dark wooden floors, neutral colours and minimal traditional décor. The amenities are of a high standard and each room has its own private balcony or terrace, both furnished.
The relaxed beachfront bar (which also serves food) is right on the sand, or you could kick back, poolside, on the comfortable terrace. The restaurant is here too, and provides good Asian & Western cuisine - the selection of fresh seafood is particularly good.
When it’s time to burn off all that supper, the small watersports centre has an excellent variety on offer - they even have hobie cats. If that all sounds a bit too energetic, there’s a lovely littlle spa where you can get massage and beauty treatments.
